Editorial Board Discusses Strategy
The Judiciary Editorial Board is planning to conduct a stakeholder meeting to review the draft Judiciary Communication Strategy.
Resources permitting, the engagement targeting a cross-section of Judiciary staff and stakeholders, will be conducted in April 2018, with a view of having the Strategy validated and approved by June, 2018.
The Board Chairperson, Hon. Lady Justice Lydia Mugambe, said in the February 23, 2018 meeting at the High Court in Kampala, that renowned media consultant, Dr. Peter G. Mwesige of the African Centre for Media Excellence, was identified to lead the Strategy review meeting.
Besides, the Editorial Board also reviewed some of the IEC materials developed for different courts as well as considering content for the next Judiciary Insider magazine, among other things.
The Buganda Road CM, HW James Ereemye Mawanda, attended the session as a special guest to help finalize the Fact-sheet about the Standards and Utility Court.
Law Reporting Officer, HW Prossy Katushabe,was welcomed to the Committee as a new member, replacing HW Elizabeth Akullo,who is away on sabbatical leave.
